Afghan Support to School Impact Scholarship

BCCC is excited to partner with the Maryland Office for Refugees and Asylees (MORA) to administer the Afghan Support to School Impact Scholarship. Offered to the immigrant Afghan population throughout Maryland, this scholarship provides a chance for youth and young adults to advance their education and job training.
The scholarship covers all tuition, fees and books associated with:
- associate degree programs
- workforce training programs
- certificate programs
The scholarship is open to:
- Citizens or nationals of Afghanistan who arrived in the U.S. under humanitarian parole (AHP), Special Immigrant Visa (SIV), refugee, or asylee status on or after July 31, 2021.
- Spouse, parent, legal guardian, or child of an AHP who arrived after September 30, 2023.
- Eligible applicants must have held an active immigration status for no more than 60 months at the time of enrollment.
