Adult Basic Education / GED® Program
- 
	 The BCCC Adult Basic Education (ABE) Department is a leader in helping adults achieve functional literacy and important life skills. BCCC is the largest provider of literacy services in Baltimore City. Classes are offered online and in-person. BCCC offers a basic computer literacy course that prepares ABE/GED students for the computer-based GED test by identifying and applying test-taking strategies, as well as enhancing digital literacy skills. Must be at least 18 years of age and have not earned a high school diploma to be eligible for our free GED® Test Preparation or Basic Skills (Pre GED®) course. Take the placement assessment test to determine the appropriate class or classes in the program. Testing is available by appointment or walk-in. Please see testing times shown below. 	Classes are at no cost to you, some classes meet virtually and others are in-person.
