Student Life & Engagement
-
The Office of Student Life and Engagement provides a comprehensive cultural, social, and recreational, health and wellness, and intellectual environment for the entire College community.
The Office of Student Life and Engagement:
- Assists students to integrate formal classroom learning with informal learning in out-of-classroom learning experiences;
- Provides opportunities for student involvement as planners, organizers, or leaders in a variety of programs, clubs and organizations, student publications, musical and theatrical events;
- Provides a wide array of programs and services that satisfy the needs of a diverse multicultural student population; and,
- Offers extra and co-curricular programming that contributes to the College’s mission, by attracting prospective students, providing services to members of the community, and retaining presently enrolled students.
In addition, the Office of Student Life and Engagement provides an opportunity for students’ growth and development through social programming, leadership workshops, diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility programming, student government, student clubs and organizations, democratic engagement, service and community engagement, and more. Participating in student life is a great way to develop leadership skills, build lasting relationships, and find your passion.
We value community, collaboration, and inclusion; and encourage programming in the elements of the Wellness Wheel-social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, financial, physical, occupations, and environment.
