PTK UMBC Transfer

  • UMBC offers current PTK members a $75 application fee waiver through the Common App. To take advantage of the fee waiver, students should indicate their PTK membership by using the fee waiver code of 'PTK' and submit a copy of their membership certificate or card to admissions@umbc.edu.
     

    If PTK members submit a completed transfer application for admission to UMBC by the Priority Deadline indicated below, they will also be automatically considered for the Phi Theta Kappa Award of $2500 per year for up to two years of study.

    Spring Admission Deadlines
    Priority Deadline: October 15
    Regular Deadline: December 1

    Fall Admission Deadlines
    Priority Deadline: March 1
    Regular Deadline: June 1
