    Program Description 

    The CADD program offers a 60-credit balanced course of study in drafting and design with state-of-the-art software, computers, and input/output devices. The CADD Engineering Technology Certificate Program offers a 16-credit course work that provides students the opportunity to master the conceptual and technical skills needed to become engineering and architectural drafters.

    • Use CADD to prepare architectural & facility management drawings
    • Identify drawing tools necessary to construct designs with speed & accuracy
    • Produce civil & mechanical engineering drawings
    • Prepare research on CADD applications
    • Solve CADD drawing exercises
    • Prepare a project on real-world design problems

    Students are prepared to work as CADD associates, providing the vital link between engineers and architects and detail drafters and manufacturers. Emphasis is on engineering and architectural drawing, engineering design, and realistic 3D modeling.

Suggested Sequence Of Courses

  • Every degree-seeking student must complete the College’s General Education Requirements in addition to the requirements of his/her academic program.
