This course series prepares students to enter the construction industry by establishing a foundation in construction skills and safety and preparing students to move into their specialization area of choice. Students will learn basic safety, construction math, hand tools, power tools, construction drawings, OSHA-10 safety standards and job readiness.
Course Sequence
- Construction Core (72 hrs)
- OSHA-10 (10 hrs)
- Job Readiness (18 hrs)
Course Requirements
- Attend an information/orientation session
- Age 18 and over
- Pass a drug screening test
- Math & Reading Assessment
